Weight loss Wednesdays

Hello again :)

So if you follow my Instagram you would have seen my post last night in which I showed that I got my stone and a half award from slimming world last night yayyyyy! I feel like this has taken quite a while for me but I suppose they say the slower it comes off the more likely it is to stay off or something like that anyways!
I'm so chuffed and proud of myself for sticking with it. Believe me there have been times when I've had a gain and never wanted to go back or times when I've been having a really stressful week and the last thing I want to do is go and get weighed. But I haven't given up and I think that's the key. There truly is no shame in a gain and you need to learn to draw a line under it and start again.
I feel like a bit of a preacher there! But last night I went and I had lost 3.5 pounds which is amazing and I finally got my stone and a half award! I'm no where near where I set my target weight at but I'm a lot closer than I was and that's great.

So rather than me rambling if you are reading this you might want to know how I managed that for a loss this week. So I get weighed on a Tuesday night then Wednesday and Thursday I follow the extra easy plan which is the original normal standard plan. Then Friday to Monday I follow the SP plan which is where you only have speed foods and protein foods. You still have your 15 syns and believe me I use them haha! But I feel that the combination of extra easy and sp allow me to get considerable losses and it's not too hard as I don't find it really restricting

I mean do I miss having potatoes, rice and pasta on my SP days.... absolutely but what I see on the scales matter more to me and that's what I think about. Don't get me wrong I know the scales aren't everything but at the minute they are a reall good measure for keeping me on track with my weight loss journey.
So all in all another successful week hoping for another one this week! I will be posting another Slimming World recipe at some point this week and a skincare related one so come back for that!

I'm back!

Hi everyone,

I cannot believe it has nearly been a year since I last posted on here. Time flies. I have said before, I'm sure, that I do mean to post but then life takes over and I simply forget or I'm too tired (excuses) but I am going to try and post on here when I can. I will try every week but I don't like to make promises I can't definitely keep. That's my aim anyways.

So what's new...

Well not a lot really. Still loving make up and trying different skincare brands to try and make my skin the best it can be.I am 25 now and I want to keep those wrinkles well at bay for the longest I can! So I will still be doing make up and skincare related posts. I might also just do general posts about what I have been up to if I have done anything interesting or been anywhere nice.

Last time I was active on here I think I had just started Slimming World, well that was short lived. I don't think I was in the right mindset which you need to be when losing weigh and I wasn't there so I quit. But I rejoined in April after nearly gaining all the weight back that I had lost with SW the first time around. Which wasn't much but I was still over 2 stone heavier than I would like to be.

It was the encouragement from my friends and family that made me realise I needed to rejoin and give it a proper go... even if some opinions were hard to hear! That's what I needed and I am so glad I rejoined. I rejoined at the end of April and since then I have lost 1 stone and 4.5 pounds which I am so happy about. Still a way to go but well on the way there. I don't think anything other than being really determined has helped me get so far, I have had my birthday, a festival and a 2 week holiday within that time so to lose that much I am proud. Anyways, I will be continuing doing my Weightloss Wednesday posts as I go to SW on a Tuesday night and I will be able to update you on how I do and it's nice for me to be able to post about it.

So sorry if this has been a rambling sort of post but I think it is hard to restart and I didn't want to just write a post on here and totally disregard that fact I have been gone nearly a year ... that would be weird.

I will leave you with one of my new discovered favourite SW breakfast recipes that I absolutely love. Just a little disclaimer I did't personally make this recipe I don't know who originally came up with it but I love it and thought it would be nice to share with you all.

Almond Baked Oats

40 grams of oats
1 egg
1 tablespoon of sweetner
2 teaspoons of almond essence (you could really use any flavour essence you like it was a friend who suggested this one and I love how strong tasting it is)
50 millilitres of semi skimmed milk
Any fruit to top

So you want to preheat your oven to approx. 200 degrees I normally find that that is hot enough. Then you add all your ingredients into a bowl apart from the fruit. Mix the ingredients together and pop into the oven for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes it's ready to eat, just top with your fave fruit and it's good to go, well let it cool a bit first!

Until next time,

Weight Loss Wednesday- Slimming World Journey

I really liked doing this series when I first started it so I thought I would bring it back especially as I'm trying a different approach... no surprise there then!

Last year I did so well and lost a stone in weight before my holiday to Greece and then I moved house, Christmas came and the weight crept back on. I stopped using my personal trainer not because I wanted to but bills have to be paid!

So when I stepped on the scales at Slimming World 5 weeks ago... I was shocked... Horrified more like! I have put on 2 stone in less than a year! That's bad!! The reason I joined slimming world was mainly because I had heard good things about it both off people I knew and from looking online and I need to lose weight! I really didn't know much about it apart from the very basics that I had gathered from what people had told me. I was nervous when I first went to my group, I was so worried I would be judged or made to feel guilty but that was the total opposite to what happened. My consultant is a lovely lady and makes you feel so positive and explains everything in a way that makes it easy to understand.

It's been 5 weeks now (I did have one week off as I was away) but if you follow my Instagram you would have seen I got my 1/2 stone award last night. I'm so chuffed! Especially as the week before I had put 1 pound on. I was so disappointed! I felt like crying and was really thinking about not staying for the class- basically the way it works is everyone gets weighed and then you have a Image Therapy class which is basically a group discussion about what's went well or not so well for people that week, what you might do differently and any recipes you've made which have been nice/easy. You have the choice you can just get weighed and go or you can stay for the class as well. I always thought I would just get weighed and go but I have been staying for the classes and I think they definitely motivate you and give you ideas, tips and tricks that should lead you to success. So yeah I was really thinking of not staying for the class when I had put on a pound because I was embarrassed and upset with myself (I know it's only a pound but I wasn't happy) but I forced myself to stay and the support I got really picked me up and made me feel better about the week ahead. And I've had a good week!

When you join you get a little pack which has all of the info you need in it and it's became like my bible. I literally have it with me every day! The first few weeks I needed it at every meal but now I'm getting more used to it, I still refer back to it but not for every single thing.

Personally I think Slimming World is easy to follow but is still really effective. I've seen such good results in such a short space of time and I'm excited about what's to come.

I dunno if I have mentioned it before but I love stationary and the fact that you get a folder and you get stickers and certificates when you hit goals really motivates me and I know that might sound sad but I love stuff like that!

I'll keep you updated with my progress through this series each week and how I find Slimming World and I might even share a SW recipe or two that I make!

I hope you've enjoyed reading and if you have tried Slimming World before I would love to know your thoughts! There will also be a make up post tomorrow so make sure you come back for that!

Holiday Blues

Hi lovelies,

Hope you're all well. So recently there have been no posts and not just because I haven't been able to fit in them in or whatever other excuse, it's because I have been on holiday!

I went to the beautiful Greek island Corfu and I fell in love with it. It was such a beautiful place with lovely people and such a relaxed atmosphere. I have to say it was one of the best holidays I've been on ... Ever! So obviously I had an amazing time, but now that I've been back a few days, the holiday blues have definitely arrived!

Now on one hand I'm feeling so sad and down because I had an amazing time and I wish I was still sat at the beach on my sunlounger or on a lilo in the pool but then on the other hand I hate feeling like I'm being ungrateful because some people don't even have the chance to go on holiday!

So I know I'm lucky that I have had this amazing experience but lets face it though when you have had an amazing holiday or break away, most of us do get the holiday blues. So I decided to look online to see what tips and tricks people have posted to getting over the holiday blues. I've picked my favourites and these are what I will be doing to get over mine. So if you want to know keep reading :).

1) Do Things You Love
Obviously you will need to go back to work or school but make sure you make time to do things you love to do too. This should make you feel more positive and therefore more happy. Writing this is helping me as it's making me realise how much I do love blogging. I'll also be getting myself to the gym as I really enjoy the gym now and can't wait to get back into the routine!

2) Have Something To Look Forward To
This for me is looking for my next holiday. Yes I know that I've only just came back but to beat these blues I need something to look forward to and what better than another holiday! Thomas Cook is a tab which is currently permanently open on my phone. If anyone has any suggestions of good holiday resorts let me know!

3) Positive Thinking
This is probably the hardest when all you want to do is be back in the sun but try and think about all the good things that are happening and all of the good memories you have which you made on holiday! Try and turn those negative feelings around! Sounds cliche but can definitely help. For example, I wish I was back on holiday can be turned around to I had such an amazing time on holiday can't wait for my next one!

4) Eat Well
You get out of your body what you put into it so by making sure you eat well should affect your mood positively and help avoid you feeling sluggish and tired. Although I have loved every minute of stuffing my face on holiday I am looking forward to eating healthily again as it makes me have more energy and will help me achieve the body I want! Like I've said before to get results it's meant to be 70% nutrition, 30% working out.

5) Share Your Memories
Don't just pretend it didn't happen as it might make it easier, talk to family and friends about it! Share your amazing memories with them, whether that's stories, photos, videos, share them all! I took loads of photos and normally I would just keep them on my phone but I'm going to get them printed off and put them in an album. Something people might see as not necessary but something I'm looking forward to!

So that's what I'm going to be doing to get rid of these holiday blues. Hope you've found this interesting and if you have any more tips share them below!

BLOGMAS Day 24 The End of Blogmas

Hi everyone,

So this is the second time of me writing this as I finished it earlier then my phone died before I saved it which was just fabulous haha not!

Anyways I hope you've all had a great Christmas Eve and I hope you have a lovely Christmas Day tomorrow. I hope Santa is good to you all!

So this is my last Blogmas post! I'm so happy I managed to keep it up although there was a couple of hiccups along the way with my computer saving a couple of posts as drafts rather than uploading which was annoying but I've really enjoyed doing it. I will most probably do it next year too.

As this is my last Blogmas post I thought I would just do a general chit chat one. I have to say I am a bit relieved Blogmas is over as when you work full time it's hard to fit everything in including blogging in your spare time. Saying that though I really do love blogging, I wouldn't do it if I didn't!

So I thought I would share a couple of things with you :).

First of all I wanted to tell you about my amazing advent calendar this year. I know this sounds pretty strange but it was the best one I've ever had and it was a Lindt one. This has 24 windows and each window has either a mini Lindt ball, bear or reindeer. In the 24th window (today), you got a full size Lindt teddy bear! All of which is gone now, I do feel a bit sick though I've been such a pig today haha but it's fine as it's Christmas time (mistletoe and wine..... That song has been stuck in my head all day!) I cannot wait to get another one of these next year and if you haven't tried this one I definitely recommend!

Second thing I wanted to share is about my make up. Now I generally do have an every day make up look that I wear every days haha but the last few days I've switched it up a bit and tried different looks and just had fun with my makeup. For all of the eye looks I've used my new Make Up Reveloution Flawless Palette which I am in love with! So I thought I'd show you a few photos of my make up from the past few days :).

I hope you've enjoyed reading my Blogmas posts and I will be back in the next few days with a new post :). Have an amazing day tomorrow!

Merry Christmas,

BLOGMAS Day 23 Blogger Love December

Hi everyone,

Hope your all excited for Christmas seeing as it's Christmas Eve's Eve! I am so excited I love this time of year!

So I saw this post on Ellen Atlanta's blog and I really liked the idea of sharing the blogger's you've been loving each month.

I think it's great to show the blogs you've been loving as its a great way for others to find new blogs and I think it shows your support for others doing the same thing as yourself. Seeing as I thought her post idea was amazing I thought I would copy and start this monthly post too, I hope she doesn't mind!

I'm not going to put a number on this and say each month I'll tell you my favourite 5 or 10 bloggers that month, it will probably differ the number of blogs I talk about, if that makes sense :).

I really love Ellen's style and her photos on her blog always look amazing!

I love Sophie's individual style and her hair is amazing! Sophie also has a YouTube channel as well as her blog.

Jamie is my make up inspiration at the moment, her make up always looks incredible. Like Sophie she has a YouTube channel too.

I have to say Sabrina's hair is amazing and she too has a YouTube channel. Her blog is beauty related which I love and she always has interesting posts on there.

Hope you've enjoyed this post and I would definitely recommend checking these bloggers out :).

Merry Christmas,

BLOGMAS Day 19 Quickie

Hi everyone,

So seeing as I've just gotten in from work (23:55) this will just be a quick post :).

I've seen on a lot of people's blogs that some people open all of their presents on Christmas Eve which I've never done before and it got me wondering if lots of people do this?

When I was younger I was allowed to open one present on Christmas Eve but that was all and I got new jarmies too but that was all I opened until Christmas Day.

Let me know if you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day :)?

Yes! Got this up before 12!

Merry christmas,

BLOGMAS Day 12 Wrapping Paper Ideas

Hi everyone,

Just a quick little post today as I should be getting to bed soon :)!

So I am one of those people who gets obsessed with making presents look amazingly wrapped and I always like to add ribbon and bows etc. I've told you before I love things that are packaged nicely!

So I noticed while looking online for some wrapping inspiration that Debenham's currently have a massive 50% off there wrapping paper packs! However they have got so many to chose from they are all so pretty! I narrowed it down to two packs that I love but I only want one as I like to use the same theme throughout all of my presents, a bit OCD I know! So anyways I thought I would share the two I love and that you would help me choose by leaving a comment below about what one you would pick out of the two :).

Number 1- Teal

Number 2- Purple

These packs are such a bargain as they are only £4.00 currently and they were £8! I'm such a bargain hunter haha :).

Let me know which one you would choose in the comments below and also let me know if you are a bit like me and like all your wrapping paper to be the same :).

Much love,
Lucy x

BLOGMAS Day 11 My Top 5 Youtubers

Hi everyone,

So today has been my day off and I've had a really lazy day! My favourite thing to do on my days off is too catch up with all of the videos on YouTube from people I have subscribed to. I love YouTube and think it's such a great outlet for people to talk and interact with people around the world who have the same interests as they do.
I've wanted to do YouTube for a while now but I'm still deciding whether to or not as I know I would enjoy doing it but I know there are negatives that go alongside it, like most things really such as hate comments etc. Anyways I'm rambling now and going off topic haha so I thought today I would share with you my top 5 favourite Youtubers. I am subscribed to a lot more but these are my ultimate favourites :)! They are not in a particular order haha!

1) Beautycrush

Sam is a UK YouTuber and she has videos on all sorts of things mainly beauty and fashion though. I like her because she seems very down to earth and really nice and friendly :).

2) InTheFROW

Victoria is another UK YouTuber and she mainly does fashion and beauty videos. I love how she styles thing and I also love her purple hair it's amazing.

3) Shaaanxo

Shannon is a YouTuber from New Zealand and I have to say if I had to pick a favourite it would probably be her. I love all her videos not only does she introduce lots of new products she also tells her viewers about her tricks and tips for putting on makeup. She does a range of videos such as hauls, first impressions and reviews.

4) Grav3yardgirl

Bunny is an American YouTuber and I think she's hilarious. I always watch her if I need cheering up. She's so funny and entertaining and down to earth. I would recommend her channel to anyone who likes to watch a variety of videos.

5) Batalash Beauty

Sam is a Canadian YouTuber  and her channel is a beauty channel and she comes up with some amazing looks along with different members of Batalash. I love Sam's attitude to YouTube and I like how she just says and does what she wants and is truly herself. I would recommend her second channel too, Chatalash!

BLOGMAS Day 6- Top 10 Gifts for Under £10 for Him

Hi everyone,

I nearly missed writing this post as I have just been asleep as I've been exhausted lately! Good thing I woke up haha! So this is the second part to the post I wrote yesterday. Yesterday's post was gifts for girls under £10 and today is gifts for boys under £10.

So if you're on a budget, need to buy for a secret Santa or need to buy some stocking fillers read on :).

1) Shot spinner drinking game £6 (ASOS)

I think this would be a good little gift for secret Santa or as a stocking filler for those who like to have a drink as I know some people don't! But it would be good to use before nights out or if he likes having/going to house parties. Just a fun little gift!

2) Casino set £8 (ASOS)

So I think these little games are great gifts as I think boys appreciate jokey kind of presents/ games. Like is says on the box it would be good for like a lads night in and might cure some boredom in the future! Plus it's better than going out and spending all your money gambling in a real casino :)!

3) Spider-Man Mug £6 (River Island)

For all those comic book lovers or
Marvel's fans this would be a good gift for them! This one is a bargain for £6 and it's something they will use and can keep for quite a long time.

4) River Island Aqua Aftershave £10 (River Island)

This smells amazing! And for only £10! If you haven't smelt this I would recommend going and trying it as I think it's a really good gift if you're on a budget. River Island do quite a few different aftershaves for the same price so if you don't fancy this one I'm sure there will be one that you do like :). I also really like the packaging of this one!

5) Breaking Bad Calender £10 (Topman)

I know this has been really popular this last year so anyone who is a fan of this programme, this would be a great gift to give. Also they get to keep it for the full year and it's very practical!

6) Yo-Yo with Clutch £5 (Topman)

This would be an ideal gift for the youger  boys in your life or the ones that are young at heart! The packaging is quite cute and retro and is great for curing those times when there's nothing else to do! Plus you could also have a go aswell everyone loves a yo-yo! I know when I was younger that was a phase where everyone had a yo-yo and you were really cool if you had a one that would light up and you could do tricks with it haha!!

7) Nivea for Men Originals Regime Trio £10 (Boots)

This type of gift is a classic. It's a safe present but it's guaranteed to be used and it's something that boys get most years as a little stocking filler so you will know they will appreciate it. This set contains a face wash, a shaving gel and a moisturiser. I think Nivea is a really good skincare brand too so you know these will be good quality!

8) British Ale Selection £8 (Boots)

For those who are 18+ years old this would be a quirky little gift that has 4 different ales in that are not the most common if that makes sense :). They get to try something new and if you can't indulge at Christmas time when can you!

9) A Game of Thrones £6.29 (Waterstones)

This is another tv series that has been popular this year especially with boys. This would be a great gift for anyone who is a fan of this series and likes reading. Books are usually more in depth so if they enjoy the tv series they more than likely will enjoy the book :).

10) Casio Retro Watch £6.99 (EBay)

You can find some real bargains on EBay and most things people put on there now are new with tags so you aren't buying second hand stuff as presents, not that there's anything wrong with that just I wouldn't do it. This is a bargain and everyone loves a Casio watch. It's a good brand and again will last quite a while :). Great for sporty types or those who like retro styling.

Phew..I found that soo much harder than the gift guide for girls. Don't get me wrong there's loads of gifts out there for boys but I didn't want to fill this gift guide full of novelty socks and underwear. I wanted to give you some different ideas, some for fun and others just nice little gifts. I hope this might have inspired you or given you some ideas if you are still Christmas shopping :).

Merry Christmas,
Lucy x

BLOGMAS Day 4- A day in the life of

Hi everyone :)

So I haven't done one of these posts before but I thought I would do one as in yesterday's tag there was a question about what I like to do on my Christmas break and I said on my days off I basically like to have a lazy day haha. Today was actually one of my days off this week so I thought I would share with you what I have done. Obviously this is different to the posts I usually do some of you may hate it but some of you might enjoy it :).
So if you want to know what I've done with my day keep reading!

I basically had a really lazy morning and I stayed in my jarmies till about half 1 this afternoon haha but I really enjoyed relaxing and having some me time!

I then got ready and it was one of those really annoying days where you aren't really doing anything but your make up goes on nicer than usual! I tried a bit of a new look as I normally wear a cat eye every day, today I just put a bit of eyeliner on the outer corners of the top and bottom of my eye and then just put loads of mascara on. I also done a brown/nude lip using Bare Minerals Break Away and Mac's Myth lipstick. I love this combination!

I then had an appointment at 3 to get my legs and underarms waxed. I hadn't had this done before and I was sick of shaving like every other day! Does anyone else hate that? I have to say it was hard letting them grow in but I am sooo pleased with the results so I think I will be keeping it up. Surprisingly my legs hurt more than my underarms especially around the ankles! Worth the pain though :).

I then went home had some tea and then I've been busy tonight washing my hair and painting my nails. Now I know some people really enjoy doing these but they really bore me as I'm impatient and just want everything done quickly haha so although it sounds fun, it was just alright haha.

Now obviously I'm blogging and tonight I will be watching I'm A Celebrity which I'm sure a lot of you watch anyway but incase you don't it's a reality tv programme where a bunch of celebs go into the Australian jungle and have to do trials and challengs for a few weeks and then there's a winner which the public vote for. Have any of you been watching it? If so who do you want to win? I really like Mel and Tinchy so I would be happy if either of them won :).

So I hope you've enjoyed this unusual post and are enjoying my Blogmas posts so far! I would love if you could follow me on Bloglovin if so!

Merry Christmas,
Lucy x

BLOGMAS! Day 3- Christmas Tag

Hi everyone :)

So this is another tag that I found on yahoo and the author of it said they found it on YouTube, though I've never seen it before!

It's a Christmas tag so I thought it would be relevant to do in Blogmas. Also, I know I've done a few tags lately so I promise I won't do another one during Blogmas unless you want me to!

Hope you enjoy!

1) What's your favourite holiday movie?
Definitely Home Alone I could watch that a million times over and never get bored of it, I love it!

2) What are your favourite Christmas colours?
Erm.... I love red and gold but I also like white and silver.

3) Do you like to stay in your pjs for Christmas or dress up?
I always stay in my new Christmas jarmies on Christmas Day, comfy all day long!

4) if you could only buy one person a Christmas present this year who would it be?
This is such a hard one, ahhh it's horrible to choose! It would be a tie between my mam or my brother.

5) Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve of Christmas morning?
Always Christmas morning but on Christmas Eve I do get to wear my new Christmas jarmies and slippers!

6) Have you ever built a ginger bread house?
No although it does look really fun and I would like to one year but I hate the taste ginger bread! I could always make one and let other people eat it :).

7) What do you like to do on your Christmas break?
Seeing as I'm not at school anymore I don't get a Christmas break but on my days off in December I like to chill out completely and not rush around anywhere! I don't know about you but December is a crazy busy month so when I get a day to myself I just like to have a lazy day!

8) Any Christmas wishes?
That my family and friends have a happy and safe Christmas, I hope that everyone does really!

9) Favourite Christmas smell?
Christmas dinner, love that smell!

10) Favourite Christmas Meal or Treat?
Christmas dinner obviously :)!

So I hope you enjoyed this tag! I tag anyone who is doing Blogmas to do this tag or if you aren't doing Blogmas but still want to do it, go ahead :)!

I'm only three days into Blogmas and I'm really enjoying blogging this much! Hope you are liking my first Blogmas posts:).

Merry Christmas,

BLOGMAS!!! Day 2

Hi everyone,

So I've decided to do Blogmas this year seeing as it's my first year blogging! I'm so excited to do this, really this post should have been yesterday but I did my #5 a day post yesterday and didn't want to overload the posting so I kept it until today :). Technically because I posted yesterday it still counts as one of my 25 Blogmas posts.
For Blogmas the challenge is to blog every day up until Christmas, I've got a feeling this will be trickier than it sounds but I'm excited to do this. I'm planning to do a few posts that are related to Chrostmas and maybe some won't be but I will try keep them as Christmassy (Definitely not a word) as possible :)!

So anyways lets get into this!
I'm so excited for Christmas but it is true though that once you get older it isn't the same!

I thought today I would do my top 5 things that I love about Christmas so keep reading if you want to know what they are :).

1) Spending time with family and friends
This may seem a bit cliche but it's true. I mean I love seeing my family and friends anyway but especially at Christmas time as there is all of the excitement and fun things to do especially like eating delicious foods, drinking cocktails and visiting Christmas markets. All make for great memories and I also love seeing their faces when I give them their presents, I love buying presents for others!

2) Christmas Films
I absolutely love Christmas films, there is nothing better than snuggling up on the sofa with a hot chocolate, a blanket and a great Christmas film- oh god how old do I sound haha! So a few of my favourite Christmas films are Home Alone 1 and 2,
Elf, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and The Polar Express. Also I'm loving Frozen at the minute although I suppose technically it might not be considered a Christmas film, Let it go is constantly stuck in my head!

3) Christmas Foods
Let's be honest who doesn't love a big  Christmas dinner or opening their advent calender on a morning! I know I do and yes I am 23 but I still have an advent calender (it's a Lindt one this year!) I love how you get too over indulge at Christmas time in all of the delicious foods and not feel guilty about it :)! A few favourites of mine are: pigs in blankets, Costa's Christmas menu, champagne, all desserts haha there's sooo many! What foods do you love at Christmas time?

4) Christmas Shopping
I've actually managed to do all of my Christmas shopping already which is soo unlike me, I've surprised myself! But I do love shopping for Christmas presents for my family and friends and I actually put a lot of thought into it as I love to see people's reactions to what I get them! It makes me feel sooo good and I love making people happy, does anyone else like shopping for others more than themselves haha?

5) Christmas decorations
This is a strange one but there is something about seeing Christmas decorations that makes me feel happy and puts me in a good mood. I don't know what it is abut them but it puts me in the festive spirit  when I see them all turned on. I also love putting decorations up ad I always decorate my room haha, I have a pink tree and tinsel all over :)!

So these are all the things I love about Christmas! Let me know what yours are in the comments below :).

Remember to come back tomorrow for my next Blogmas post!
Much love,

November Favourites

Hi everyone,
I can't believe how fast November has went I will probably say that everytime I do one of these posts but this year is just going so fast! So I've only got a few favourites to share so if you want to find out what I've been loving this month keep reading :).

Fashion

Missguided Leopard Print Ankle Boots

I had been looking at these for so long on the Missguided website and couldn't decide whether to get them or not. If you read my blog you're probably aware of my love for leopard print and I didn't have any boots like this. I recently went back on to the website and saw that the boots had went from £24.00 (I think) to £14.99 so I had to have them, such a bargain!

Topshop Ripped Joni Jeans

I've wanted some ripped jeans for so long but the only jeans u wear now are Joni jeans. If you haven't tried them I would definitely recommend they are super stretchy but aren't jeggings they look like jeans and are quite a bit thicker than jeggings. They are also high waisted which I really love as they don't fall down as much, they're amazing. Anyways when I saw that Topshop did a ripped black pair I had to get them. They're so comfy!

Beauty

Beauty Blender

I have been loving this this month. I use it for my foundation and my concealer and it gives the most beautiful flawless finish. I've never really been a fan of sponges but this one is amazing. You use it damp and blend your foundation/concealer  in and it kind of gives a dewy finish which I'm not a massive fan of usually but it looks nice when using this and I always powder to set it and give me a matte finish.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder

So I decided to give this a try out this month rather than my Mac powder and although it doesn't give the same coverage as the Mac one, it does set your foundation really nice, keep you matte for quite a long time and it's really affordable to. I still prefer the Mac one but this is still really good and I have been loving it this month.

Hair

L'Oreal Matte and Messy Shine-Free Salt Spray
Lately I've been wearing my hair either wavy or like straight is but messy if that makes sense. This spray is really great for adding texture to your hair and giving it that bed head kind of look but still looking nice and not too messy :).

Random

American Horror Story

There are no words for this, I absolutely love it! I normally really don't like horror films/tv shows so I didn't think I would like this but there is something about it that makes me love it. There are 3 series, each one is a different story but still inudes some of the same actors. I have watched the first series which is about ghosts which was brilliant and I'm now wat hung the third series which is about witches and I'm only a few episodes in but I'm still liking it. I skipped the second one as apparently it's really gory and I dunno if I can deal with that yet one step at a time, I'm already out of my comfort zone haha!

Boots

If you read my blog you know I'm obsessed with Boots I love it so it's not necessarily that I'm only loving it this month I love it all year round! However, I started my Christmas shopping this month and Boots have had some amazing offers on I'm so impressed, every year they do great offers but I've also had special points offers come through the post as well so double bonus!

So not too many favourites this month but I thought I would still share them with you all :).
I think I may be doing a haul this week and a few other posts so keep coming back  (if you want to)!
Much love,

What's In My Bag Tag with Kirstie

Hi everyone,
Sorry I haven't posted this week as of yet, I have just been so busy at the moment but I promise I will be back on it next week.
Anyways, today I'm doing a collab post with Kirstie from Kimamely Beauty. I had put on Twitter if any beauty or fashion bloggers would fancy doing a collaboration post with me as I have never done one before and thought it would be something new for you to read and fun for me to do.

So we decided to do a What's In My Bag Tag as everyone loves those and we also added some questions in too, just to make it a bit more interesting :).

So I'll do the questions first and then tell you what else is in my bag!

1) What's the weirdest item in your bag?
So at the minute this is a tie between two things; a fork and an Olbus inhaler. So I better explain these haha so the fork was in there because when I go to work I don't like to use the communal cutlery I just have a thing about germs and other people using them so I just prefer to take my own. Then the inhaler is there because I often stay at my boyfriend's house so I take it incase I get a blocked nose when I am there as that is one of the most annoying things I think haha I need to breathe!!

2)What's the most expensive thing in your bag?
Probably my diary, this was actually a gift I got off some work friends so I don't know the price but it is from Paperchase and I know that their big diary's can be a bit pricey. Other than that it would be my make up bag but not the actual bag but the stuff inside it as I never sort it out so it is jammed with loads of things.

3)What item in you bag can you not leave the house without?
Probably my purse as you never know when you will need to buy something or need one of your cards especially if you are an impulse buyer like me!

4)What's your favourite thing in your bag at the minute?
This is probably always my make up bag as firstly, it's holographic and it's so pretty but I also have all of my current beauty favourites in it too.

5)If you could have any bag what bag would you choose?
It would definitely be a Michael Kors, this is probably so cliche, but I love the Large Selma Satchel. I love the fact that it's large as my bag is usually crammed full of weird and wonderful things haha and I think it is a classic shape too and would always be in fashion.

So both me and Kirstie came up with those questions so if you would like to read her answers click here and I think you should :)!

Here is what was in my bag!

My Diary

My Purse

My Makeup Bag

My Keys

Two Sets of Headphones (I have no idea why two)

My comb and Tangle Teezer

A Neurofen Melt (I don't like taking tablets I always think I am going to choke haha so I use these instead if I'm not feeling well)

Teeth Whitening Leaflets (I had to go to the dentist's for a check up and I have always wanted my teeth whitened so I asked about it and got some leaflets on it, I'm hopefully going to get booked up for it this month!)

Deodorant (as it's always nice to smell fresh)

Mini Gucci Intense  (I got a gucci mini perfume set last Christmas and this was in my bag as it was my favourite but I had forgotten about it so that's why there is still some left!)

A Fork

An Olbus Inhaler

A Hair Clip

Also my bag is from BHS but I got it like a year ago. I normally go for black bags as they go with everything and I liked this one as it is sturdy and quite big so I can fit quite a bit in.
I hope you enjoyed reading this and if you would like to see Kirstie's postthe link is above, I really enjoy her blog I would definitely recommend checking it out! Also thank you to Kirstie for getting in touch to do this collab :).
Much love,
