November Favourites

Hi everyone,
I can't believe how fast November has went I will probably say that everytime I do one of these posts but this year is just going so fast! So I've only got a few favourites to share so if you want to find out what I've been loving this month keep reading :).

Fashion

Missguided Leopard Print Ankle Boots

I had been looking at these for so long on the Missguided website and couldn't decide whether to get them or not. If you read my blog you're probably aware of my love for leopard print and I didn't have any boots like this. I recently went back on to the website and saw that the boots had went from £24.00 (I think) to £14.99 so I had to have them, such a bargain!

Topshop Ripped Joni Jeans

I've wanted some ripped jeans for so long but the only jeans u wear now are Joni jeans. If you haven't tried them I would definitely recommend they are super stretchy but aren't jeggings they look like jeans and are quite a bit thicker than jeggings. They are also high waisted which I really love as they don't fall down as much, they're amazing. Anyways when I saw that Topshop did a ripped black pair I had to get them. They're so comfy!

Beauty

Beauty Blender

I have been loving this this month. I use it for my foundation and my concealer and it gives the most beautiful flawless finish. I've never really been a fan of sponges but this one is amazing. You use it damp and blend your foundation/concealer  in and it kind of gives a dewy finish which I'm not a massive fan of usually but it looks nice when using this and I always powder to set it and give me a matte finish.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder

So I decided to give this a try out this month rather than my Mac powder and although it doesn't give the same coverage as the Mac one, it does set your foundation really nice, keep you matte for quite a long time and it's really affordable to. I still prefer the Mac one but this is still really good and I have been loving it this month.

Hair

L'Oreal Matte and Messy Shine-Free Salt Spray
Lately I've been wearing my hair either wavy or like straight is but messy if that makes sense. This spray is really great for adding texture to your hair and giving it that bed head kind of look but still looking nice and not too messy :).

Random

American Horror Story

There are no words for this, I absolutely love it! I normally really don't like horror films/tv shows so I didn't think I would like this but there is something about it that makes me love it. There are 3 series, each one is a different story but still inudes some of the same actors. I have watched the first series which is about ghosts which was brilliant and I'm now wat hung the third series which is about witches and I'm only a few episodes in but I'm still liking it. I skipped the second one as apparently it's really gory and I dunno if I can deal with that yet one step at a time, I'm already out of my comfort zone haha!

Boots

If you read my blog you know I'm obsessed with Boots I love it so it's not necessarily that I'm only loving it this month I love it all year round! However, I started my Christmas shopping this month and Boots have had some amazing offers on I'm so impressed, every year they do great offers but I've also had special points offers come through the post as well so double bonus!

So not too many favourites this month but I thought I would still share them with you all :).
I think I may be doing a haul this week and a few other posts so keep coming back  (if you want to)!
Much love,

What's In My Bag Tag with Kirstie

Hi everyone,
Sorry I haven't posted this week as of yet, I have just been so busy at the moment but I promise I will be back on it next week.
Anyways, today I'm doing a collab post with Kirstie from Kimamely Beauty. I had put on Twitter if any beauty or fashion bloggers would fancy doing a collaboration post with me as I have never done one before and thought it would be something new for you to read and fun for me to do.

So we decided to do a What's In My Bag Tag as everyone loves those and we also added some questions in too, just to make it a bit more interesting :).

So I'll do the questions first and then tell you what else is in my bag!

1) What's the weirdest item in your bag?
So at the minute this is a tie between two things; a fork and an Olbus inhaler. So I better explain these haha so the fork was in there because when I go to work I don't like to use the communal cutlery I just have a thing about germs and other people using them so I just prefer to take my own. Then the inhaler is there because I often stay at my boyfriend's house so I take it incase I get a blocked nose when I am there as that is one of the most annoying things I think haha I need to breathe!!

2)What's the most expensive thing in your bag?
Probably my diary, this was actually a gift I got off some work friends so I don't know the price but it is from Paperchase and I know that their big diary's can be a bit pricey. Other than that it would be my make up bag but not the actual bag but the stuff inside it as I never sort it out so it is jammed with loads of things.

3)What item in you bag can you not leave the house without?
Probably my purse as you never know when you will need to buy something or need one of your cards especially if you are an impulse buyer like me!

4)What's your favourite thing in your bag at the minute?
This is probably always my make up bag as firstly, it's holographic and it's so pretty but I also have all of my current beauty favourites in it too.

5)If you could have any bag what bag would you choose?
It would definitely be a Michael Kors, this is probably so cliche, but I love the Large Selma Satchel. I love the fact that it's large as my bag is usually crammed full of weird and wonderful things haha and I think it is a classic shape too and would always be in fashion.

So both me and Kirstie came up with those questions so if you would like to read her answers click here and I think you should :)!

Here is what was in my bag!

My Diary

My Purse

My Makeup Bag

My Keys

Two Sets of Headphones (I have no idea why two)

My comb and Tangle Teezer

A Neurofen Melt (I don't like taking tablets I always think I am going to choke haha so I use these instead if I'm not feeling well)

Teeth Whitening Leaflets (I had to go to the dentist's for a check up and I have always wanted my teeth whitened so I asked about it and got some leaflets on it, I'm hopefully going to get booked up for it this month!)

Deodorant (as it's always nice to smell fresh)

Mini Gucci Intense  (I got a gucci mini perfume set last Christmas and this was in my bag as it was my favourite but I had forgotten about it so that's why there is still some left!)

A Fork

An Olbus Inhaler

A Hair Clip

Also my bag is from BHS but I got it like a year ago. I normally go for black bags as they go with everything and I liked this one as it is sturdy and quite big so I can fit quite a bit in.
I hope you enjoyed reading this and if you would like to see Kirstie's postthe link is above, I really enjoy her blog I would definitely recommend checking it out! Also thank you to Kirstie for getting in touch to do this collab :).
Much love,

Top 5 Christmas Party Dresses

Top 5 Christmas Party Dresses
Hi everyone :)
Just a quick little post today using my fave app- Polyvore!
So I have my work's Christmas Party coming up and I always like to wear something new when it's an event like this.
I love dresses so I've set a challenge to find the perfect Christmas party dress. While looking around on the Internet these wear the top 5 that caught my eye. I don't often wear colour so I'm surprised they aren't all black!
I'm loving velvet at the minute so 2 out of the 5 are velvet but I think Christmas is the perfect time to wear velvet.
These come in  a range of prices and come from a few different internet sites like Boohoo, Missguided, ASOS and Topshop.
So I really can't decide on 1 out of all of these, I suppose I have a little while yet so there is still time to decide but I always get anxious when buying online incase it's late! Anyone else feel like this?
Also what one do you think I should choose? Let me know in the comments below :)!
Much love,

This or That Tag

Hi everyone,
So this is a tag that I found on Yahoo of all places haha and I thought it seemed like quite a good one as it includes beauty, fashion and a few other random categories. So like I've said before obviously with tags you are meant to get tagged but my view on it is if you want to do it just do it plus loads of people who say I tag anyone who wants to answer it to do it so I kind of have been tagged in some of these hahaha! I say that on all of mine :).

Blush or bronzer?
Bronzer either The Body Shop's Honeycomb Bronzer or Benefit's Hoola.
Lipstick or lipgloss?
Lipstick everytime.

Brights or darks?
Darks, my favourite nail colours are black and dark red.
Flower or no flower?
I'm not 100% sure what this means so no flower.

Either really as long as it smells nice, then I'm not bothered! My favourite perfume at the minute is Marc Jacobs Daisy and my all time favourite body splash is Victoria's Secret Coconut Passion I think it's called, it's amazing.
Lotion or body butter?
Lotion as body butter takes ages to sink in and I don't have the time haha.
Body wash or soap?
Body wash, any nice smelling one will do but I do love the Vanilla cupcake one that Philosphy do at Christmas time.
Lush or other body company?
Lush everytime I love that they are cruelty free and all of their products I have tried, I have always loved.

Fashion
Jeans or sweat pants?

Stripes or plaid?
Plaid or as we call it in England (I think) it's tartan.

Normally studs but every now and then I can't resist hoop earrings (big ones:))

Necklaces.
Heels or flats?
Probably heels as I'm only 5 foot 2.
Cowboy boots or riding boots?
Neither my docs are my favourite boots!
Jacket or a hoody?

Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick

Hi everyone,
Sorry I haven't been posting for a few days, time is just passing too quickly! There isn't enough hours in a day to fit everything in at the minute haha!
So this is actually the second time that I am writing this post as my first post didn't save, how annoying!
I've been wanting to try a liquid lipstick for ages now, it seems like loads of brands are coming out with these and one of the reasons why they appeal to me is that they have a matte finish which we all know how much I love matte finishes!
I recieved this one in my Love ME Beauty box and it's by a brand called Ofra which I haven't ever heard of before but when I looked them up they seem to be a professional make up company for make up artists. This colour is called 'Hollywood' and it isn't really a colour that I would choose for myself. I love pink lipsticks but this one is a slightly darker shade than I would normally go for but I was still curious to try it.
This glides on so smoothly and evenly and is soo pigmented. It goes on like a lipgloss so it is very wet at first but it dries really quickly. Once it is dry it is a bit sticky when you put your lips together but it isn't annoying at all, or at least I didn't find it annoying! I only had this on for a little while but it did hold up quite well and didn't budge. I am pretty sure this will last for such a long time because it was quite hard to get off my lips haha! So although this is a shade I wouldn't have picked I was actually quite surprised when I put it on as it isn't dark once on at all and I actually really liked it! Definitely going to be wearing this quite a bit over the next few weeks haha!
I went on the official website for this company which is an American website so all of the prices are in dollars. They have about 19 different shades I think and these are being sold for $19 which is round about £12 which I don't think is too bad considering they are really pigmented and seem to last quite a while. Their website is ofracosmetics.com and they do a whole range of different products. I would definitely recommend trying this lipstick out if you like matte finishes and want something long lasting!
Let me know if you have tried any long lasting liquid lipsticks and what you thought of them!
Much love,

Topshop Wishlist 💜

Topshop Wishlist ?

Hi everyone,
Just a quick post today! Lately I have been loving Topshop's autumn/winter collection and I want soooo much! This is my favourite time of year I just love fashion at this time rather than summer haha! As you can tell I made this on polyvore and its my Topshop Wislist. It is very black, white and grey but those are the colours I wear. I don't often wear any colours but I do like tartan and leopard print! So I've included faux fur and leather as I love these textures and I really like mixing different textures together. I'm going to be saving my pennies together to start getting these pieces and hopefully I will have a haul soon with some of these in it (I hope :))!
Hope you've enjoyed this second mood board creation! Let me know what your favourite autumn/winter pieces are :).

Mac False Lashes Mascara Review

Hi everyone :)
So a while ago I got an email from Mac saying that if I was one of the first 1500 to complete their survey I would get a free tester of their False Lashes Mascara. So of course I filled in their survey it was just about their products and customer service etc. and I totally forgot about it. Then the other day I got a black package in the post and I had no clue what was in it and then I saw the mascara! I had totally forgot about it haha. I have tried one of Mac's mascaras before and I have to say I was really disappointed with it. It was about two years ago and I cannot remember what one it was and I had asked for it for Christmas because I had read reviews on it and it seemed good and when I tried it I was really let down so I wanted to try this one to see if I liked this one or not. If did have really high hopes for this one I wanted huge voluminous lashes haha!
So I applied this to my lashes which had nothing on them at all and I didn't curl them either, mainly because I couldn't find my eyelash curler.
So these are the before photos:

So I would say my eyelashes are fairly long not massive but an okay length but when I use a mascara I want to create thickness mostly and just a little bit more length.
These are the photos after using one coat of the mascara:

First of all yes my skin looks a different colour in the before and after photos in the before ones I don't have any makeup on at all and in the after I have foundation on and I think I was under a different light but that's not we are focusing on haha!
So as you can see the mascara does really open up my eyes. It does add length to my lashes and gives them a bit of thickness without being really clumpy. I do have to say I do actually quite like this mascara and will carry on using it while I can. I didn't apply a second coat as I wouldn't usually and I didn't want really cluny looking lashes.
However, I don't think it makes me look like I'm wearing false lashes like the name claims and I don't think I would pay the price for this mascara as personally I don't think it gives better results than say my Maybelline or Rimmel ones so I am on the fence slightly.
Overall, I do like the mascara but I don't think I will purchase it just because I don't see a massive difference in my lashes. I hate saying this because there are so many Mac products that I love! Can't love everything though!
Let me know if you have tried this product and what you think of it and also what is your favourite Mac product?
Much love,
