Mitonia Review

So a couple of weeks ago I received an email off a brand called Mitonia. I had never heard of this brand before and they asked me if they could send me a couple of hair products for me to do a review on. Now if you have read my blog you will know I don't take as much care of my hair as I probably should do and I am always changing what I use on my hair. I've never found my "holy grail" hair products.
Anyways I had a look on the site which I have linked above for you and they are all about selling high quality cosmetics and hair care, they word it as bringing to the consumer the best of the best.
They have so many different products for different hair types and I was so excited to try out the ones they sent me.
The items they sent me were from the MQ Platinum and Diamonds collection. They were:

MIRIAM QUEVEDO PLATINUM & DIAMONDS LUXURIOUS SHAMPOO £28

MIRIAM QUEVEDO PLATINUM & DIAMONDS LUXURIOUS MASK £38.75

This collection aims to fight aging hair, restoring ultra-volume to the hair with extreme silkiness which has disappeared over time.
So first of all lets just admire the packaging, if you know me you know I love my packaging haha. It's black and sparkly, what more could you want?!  Obviously the price tags are a bit expensive but I'm a big believer in you get what you pay for and I think the packaging is a big part of that!
So I've tried both of these, I used the shampoo first and then the mask. Now, I suppose you could say I'm a bit sceptical about hair care but I have to say I found these two quite indulgent and luxurious. So both come out of the bottle quite metallic and sparkly which I obviously loved haha and both smell lovely as well. The shampoo lathered up really well there's nothing more I hate then when you use a shampoo and it takes half the bottle to actually work. This was the opposite you only need a little bit! I used the mask and left it on for 15 minutes. It did say to lather it up but I just covered the mid to bottom of my hair with the mask and it worked great.
Whenever I don't use conditioner on my hair when it drys it just feels awful which I was scared might have been the case with not using a conditioner but the mask did a great job at conditioning my hair and my hair felt amazing. My hair was so soft and shiny once it had dried so much so my boyfriend even noticed my hair haha! I would definitely recommend trying this brand if you fancy a splurge or treating yourself and once I've finished these bottles I am going to treat myself to some more hair goodies!
I just want to say that even though I was sent these this is my true 100% opinion as I would blog about something I didn't like, it's not my style (haha that's maybe a bit too cheesy for Christmas Eve!)
I hope you all have a lovely Christmas  and I'll be back soon!

Weightloss Wednesday- Body Fat

Hi lovelies

Hope you're all well! So if you read my blog you will know that it was my mission to lose weight after gaining 2 stone and get a more healthy lifestyle. After some hard work I am finally getting there but after getting a personal trainer and learning more about health and fitness I have learnt not to be sooo obsessed with what the scales say.

So recently it got me thinking that maybe I did think too much about what the scales were saying when really what I should have been basing my success on were my body fat results. Now my reason for thinking this is I've always wanted to get back to 8 stone which I was when I was 16 but looking back there was still parts of my body that weren't toned and I wasn't 100% happy with my body. So why was this my goal?!

I would be happy with my body when I'm toned (especially my tummy!) and have some definition- this doesn't necessarily mean being 8 stone! So how do you measure something like this?

Obviously those with toned tummies have a low body fat which is what my main goal over the next few months will be. To get the results I want it means having a lower body fat.

For those who maybe don't know how body fat is measured, it's measured by percentage and there is a few different ways of measuring it. Some scales measure it by sending a small electrical current through your body but with these it is debated how accurate they are. Another way is a manual way where different sections of your body are pinched by some clippers and then the results are added and out comes your percentage.

When I first got this done I was dreading my results and thought I would be off the chart haha! However I was pleasantly surprised with the result. It came out at 27% which is considered healthy. Now I'm not by any means saying this is the best result it was just better than I first thought. Since then it has dropped to 25%.

Now obviously these are just numbers to some people so I found this photo below to indicate what different body fat percentages look like. I'm not saying the photo is 1 million percent accurate but it's a good start. Obviously the percentages look different based on whether you are a man or woman as women naturally carry more fat on their body.

So my goal is to drop to around about 19% over the next couple of months. Depending on what my body looks like when I get there I will either work to maintain it or try and lower it by a percent or two. Personally I think this is a better way to measure success as now that I've lost a bit of weight it's all about tightening everything up! To do this I will be aiming to do at least 3 cardio sessions a week plus weight training at least 4 times a week.

I hope some of you found this interesting and maybe learnt something new :).

Holiday Blues

Hi lovelies,

Hope you're all well. So recently there have been no posts and not just because I haven't been able to fit in them in or whatever other excuse, it's because I have been on holiday!

I went to the beautiful Greek island Corfu and I fell in love with it. It was such a beautiful place with lovely people and such a relaxed atmosphere. I have to say it was one of the best holidays I've been on ... Ever! So obviously I had an amazing time, but now that I've been back a few days, the holiday blues have definitely arrived!

Now on one hand I'm feeling so sad and down because I had an amazing time and I wish I was still sat at the beach on my sunlounger or on a lilo in the pool but then on the other hand I hate feeling like I'm being ungrateful because some people don't even have the chance to go on holiday!

So I know I'm lucky that I have had this amazing experience but lets face it though when you have had an amazing holiday or break away, most of us do get the holiday blues. So I decided to look online to see what tips and tricks people have posted to getting over the holiday blues. I've picked my favourites and these are what I will be doing to get over mine. So if you want to know keep reading :).

1) Do Things You Love
Obviously you will need to go back to work or school but make sure you make time to do things you love to do too. This should make you feel more positive and therefore more happy. Writing this is helping me as it's making me realise how much I do love blogging. I'll also be getting myself to the gym as I really enjoy the gym now and can't wait to get back into the routine!

2) Have Something To Look Forward To
This for me is looking for my next holiday. Yes I know that I've only just came back but to beat these blues I need something to look forward to and what better than another holiday! Thomas Cook is a tab which is currently permanently open on my phone. If anyone has any suggestions of good holiday resorts let me know!

3) Positive Thinking
This is probably the hardest when all you want to do is be back in the sun but try and think about all the good things that are happening and all of the good memories you have which you made on holiday! Try and turn those negative feelings around! Sounds cliche but can definitely help. For example, I wish I was back on holiday can be turned around to I had such an amazing time on holiday can't wait for my next one!

4) Eat Well
You get out of your body what you put into it so by making sure you eat well should affect your mood positively and help avoid you feeling sluggish and tired. Although I have loved every minute of stuffing my face on holiday I am looking forward to eating healthily again as it makes me have more energy and will help me achieve the body I want! Like I've said before to get results it's meant to be 70% nutrition, 30% working out.

5) Share Your Memories
Don't just pretend it didn't happen as it might make it easier, talk to family and friends about it! Share your amazing memories with them, whether that's stories, photos, videos, share them all! I took loads of photos and normally I would just keep them on my phone but I'm going to get them printed off and put them in an album. Something people might see as not necessary but something I'm looking forward to!

So that's what I'm going to be doing to get rid of these holiday blues. Hope you've found this interesting and if you have any more tips share them below!

PhD Diet Whey Review

Hi lovelies,

So as you all know as part of my plan to lose weight I've had to change my diet to include more protein. At first this was a real struggle for me as I'm not a massive meat eater, I've always ate meat but it isn't my favourite thing to eat! So one way I've managed to get more protein into me is by taking protein powder.

I've tried a couple of brands but by far I've found the best tasting/ nicest texture is the PhD Diet Whey. Some others I've tried have been really watery and bit-y if that makes sense but this one is quite thick like a milk shake, I've actually started enjoying them. Another reason I get this one is that it's low carbs and high protein. Exactly what I'm needing :).

So the flavours I've tried are:
-chocolate peanut
-white chocolate
-chocolate orange

These are literally the easiest things to make. All you need is a shaker bottle, water and the powder itself. Another great thing about these protein powders is that you can mix them in with porridge and with yogurt. Also on the packaging it tells you all the measurements for making the shakes which I found so useful in the beginning (even though you can't go far wrong haha).

I will say the only con that I found was it was a bit hard getting used to the taste at first but that passed quick and like I said above I actually quite enjoy them now!

The way I mix mine is I use 300ml of water, a couple of ice cubes and 50g protein powder and then you shake it all up.

I hope this helps some of you or at least you found it interesting!

My Mac Wishlist

Hi lovelies,

Seeing as I go on holiday in less than a week (yayy!!!!!) I'm trying to be 'good' with my money but I keep finding myself on the Mac website. So easy to do right! So I've made a mental note of what items I need (definitely not a need haha) to add to my collection once I've been on my hols!!

So these are what I need ;)

1) Mac Mineralize Skinfinish in Lightscapade

So I'm kinda getting into looking dewy (never thought I would say that!) obvs soft and gentle has a lot of hype over it but seeing as I'm super pale I think this shade might suit me more.

2) and 3) Mac Lipliner and Lipstick in Stone

This colour.... Just amazing!

4) Mac Fix+

Since I'm after that dewy effect this seems like an essential :).

5) Mac Pro Sculpting Powder in Shadowy

Once again as Im so pale I feel when contouring I need something that is more grey toned as opposed to bronze. After searching high and low this looks like it might do the job!

Let me know what's on your makeup  wishlist :).

Weightloss Wednesday

Hi lovelies,

So one of my main goals this summer was to complete the Race for Life which raises money for Cancer Research UK. And I let you know all about this in one of my earlier posts and why I was doing it but I haven't blogged since doing it! One of the reasons to do this was I thought it would help me lose weight.

So I raised just over my target of £150 which I think is pretty good for one person! I started training 6 weeks before and I used the training plan below which I got off the Race for Life website. Anyway my goal was to complete the race in under 40 minutes and to not stop running throughout the whole race. As it got to the last week of training I was struggling slightly at pushing myself but I knew it was for a good cause.

So on the actual day it was really warm which is always a positive and I have to say everyone was really supportive of one another and it just felt like a nice vibe. There were 3 categories that you could go in either running, jogging or walking. So I didn't want to overestimate what I could do if that makes sense so I went with the joggers. Looking back now I feel like I could have went with the runners as I did catch some of them up during the race.

Even though I did train for it, it definitely wasn't the easiest thing I have done. I didn't stop though and I think because everyone around was so supportive that definitely helped. Although there was a point at around the last 200m that I thought my legs were going to fall off haha but I powered through! So I managed to finish the 5k in 28 minutes! I'm so proud of myself considering 6 weeks earlier I couldn't even run for one minute!

I would definitely say if you are thinking about doing it next year, go for it!

About 2 weeks into training I got myself a personal trainer and I have to say it's one of the best things I've done. Now I know it can be expensive but my body is changing so much week on week, I would say it's definitely worth it! So training for the run and training with him helped me lose 6.3 pounds after just 8 sessions with him and I have 2 a week. However, you can't just go to the gym and then eat whatever you want if you want to see results (I wish haha). So I've been clean eating every week and having one cheat day... which I live for haha! So I guess the saying 'eat clean, train dirty' is true!

I feel like I have loads more to talk about but to stop this from being massive I will keep the rest for next week!

Long time... No blogging?

Hi lovelies,

So yes I've taken a little break from blogging lately not for any particular reason just my bad time keeping and organisation... or lack of! So I'm back and I've tried to work out a schedule which should allow me to post every Monday, Wednesday and Friday so let's see if I can stick to it!

So much has happened since I last blogged like the Race for Life and I've been practically living at the gym haha but I'll save all of that stuff for Wednesday and ease back in with a nice little review :).

I'm pretty sure last year I did a review on the Beauty Blender and before that, I really didn't like using a sponge to apply my foundation but that one changed my opinion. I love my Beauty Blender, I think it applies foundation amazing and gives a great finish so much so that I never use a brush ever now.

However, to be totally honest I really do need a new one now and although they are easy enough to order online I would prefer to just pick one up in a shop rather than wait for it to be delivered. I know it wouldn't take much longer, I'm just quite impatient! So anyways im rambling, last time I was in Boots I decided to pick up the Real Techniques Miracle Sponge and give it a try, it's also a good thing to make a post about...thinking ahead haha. So here's my thoughts on it :).

Like the Beauty Blender this grows when you dampen it. I dunno if it's because it's a different shape or because it's a different brand maybe, but this one felt a lot more firmer than the original Beauty Blender which at first I really didn't like. It didn't feel as soft on my skin or didn't blend out the foundation as easy. The more I'm using it though the softer it is becoming so I am liking it more.

Also as im a creature of habit it took me a while to get use to the different shape, I know that probably sounds ridiculous but I just wasn't comfortable using it at first haha. Again though the more I've used it the more I've gotten used to it!

One of the really good things about the Real Techniques sponge is that it has three different sides (I guess) that you can use. So it has the rounded edge like the Beauty Blender, it also has a tip again similar to the Beauty Blender but it also has a flat edge too. I would normally use the tip to blend out concealer as it's nice and precise but the flat edge does blend out concealer quite well too... Bonus!

On the packaging it also states you can use this either wet or dry and I'm not sure if you can do that with the beauty blender... Maybe you can. I think this is a plus because some people might not want to use it damp and at least this way you get the best of both worlds. I haven't tried using it dry as I really like the finish it gives when it's damp. If you use it dry comment below let me know what it's like :).

Anyway to wrap this up I do really like both and I am currently using the Real
Techniques sponge on a daily basis but if I'm being one million per cent honest I do prefer the Beauty Blender just a little bit more. Obviously, I did use that a lot longer so this might change in the future! If you are impatient like me though I would suggest picking up the Real Techniques sponge and trying it out as it does give a lovely finish to your foundation.

Let me know below which you prefer and why :).

I will deffos be back on Wednesday with another post (I've already started writing it, organised haha).

Until then,

Lucy x

Weightloss Wednesday

Hi lovelies

So haven't posted one of these for a while but it is still going! Last time I spoke to you I had joined a new gym but hadn't been to it yet and was thinking about getting a personal trainer.

So I have been and I love the gym, it's really modern and has quite a lot of space so no waiting around for machines- I can't fault it! I love it haha never thought I would say that about a gym.

I also did get a personal trainer and I would definitely say he has helped me and would recommend anyone who may be struggling to give a personal trainer a go.

So today I'm going to talk about my new diet.

In the past I have tried eating healthier but not really understood what was in the food and probably making bad decisions. Now that I'm learning about foods and what's in them and seeing results I definitely believe that 70/30 rule. Basically to see results it's meant to be 70% diet and 30% exercise- yes I believe this is true haha!!!
So I'm on a high protein/high fat low carb diet. This was quite hard for me at first as I love carbs and you don't actually realise how much food has carbs in and the amount they have in. I feel like I'm getting re-educated with food but I'm loving it. I'm feeling better for it I have no bloating at all. Anyone who knows me will know I'm not the biggest meat eater but I have really been trying and increasing my meat intake to ensure I hit my protein goal for the day. But I have also been having protein shakes to help as well. This was a diet plan my personal trainer came up with for me and I feel like it is working. Not going to lie there are hard days when you're sitting with chicken and a salad and there are people sitting around with pasta or potatoes I do feel a bit jealous but then I try and think positively and think about what this food will help me achieve. I think positive thinking is definitely key. I am allowed one cheat day which I do look forward to but I don't binge- what would be the point after all that hard work!
So here are a few photos of my myfitnesspal logged meals to give you an idea of what I've been eating.

Hope you've enjoyed this post and maybe learnt something or been motivated!

Boohoo Wishlist

Hi lovelies

Hope you're all well. So as its only a week until pay day I find myself more and more online shopping or rather browsing haha.

Lately I've been loving Boohoo's collection and I've made a Wishlist that I thought I would share with you. As you know I'm currently trying to lose weight and become healthier which I think is key no crash diets or anything happening (I'll update you on Wednesday!) So I don't know whether to buy them once I have been paid or wait a while as I want them to still fit after like a month or so!

So here are my top 4 (random right I should have just done 5 haha) Boohoo picks :)

I love this dress and I love the bell sleeves  on it- gives it a nice 70's vibe. It also comes in white and rust. I think I would personally get it in the rust colour.

Another dress with interesting sleeves. That again is the reason why I like this dress and I love the pattern- which is unlike me as I'm normally all in black haha!

Omg these shorts- amazing! I love the lace detailing and I think these would be perfect to dress up or dress down. They also look really comfy.

Last but not least this t-shirt dress. I think these are perfect for every day wear and easy to throw on and still look nice. I also like the fact it has drop arm holes (is that what it's called haha) it's just a nice little detail! Again this comes in more colours but I probably would get in black- surprise surprise!

So these are my top 4 picks from Boohoo at the moment. Let me know what you're loving from Boohoo and if you like any of my picks :).

Catch up

Hi lovelies

Sorry first of all, this was meant to be up yesterday but I fell asleep very early as I was shattered!

I thought this post would just be a quick catch up post as to where I've been all week and not posting! I know I don't need to justify it but thought it would be a nice thing to share on a Sunday night... easy reading :).

So at the beginning of the week I actually went glamping. Now I've been camping before like at festivals which although I love festivals the actual camping part is not my favourite. I love my home comforts and not showering and sleeping in a confined space for like 5 nights is not ideal for me haha but I suppose the music makes up for it. Anyways glamping was really fun and you do get a lot more space and showers so I did enjoy it.

So that took up most of my week and then the rest of it has been spent working and training for the Race for Life. Today is the end of my second week training and although I can't see a massive improvement I am slowly but surely starting to get better. I have mixed my training up with some running on the treadmill but the majority is outdoors as I figured that's where I will be running. Like I said when I first announced this, I am not a natural runner, it was probably my least favourite thing to do ever haha but I am trying to think positively and have a positive outlook which is helping me to enjoy my runs... sort of haha I'm sure it will, just have to persevere! This week in my training I've been trying to work on my breathing so that im not panting like a dog haha. This is quite hard to do as I think that's why I normally don't like running as it's about trying to control your breathing and I'm currently not good at that haha but I do love a challenge!

Anyways that's been my week, hope you've all had a great week and I will speak to you soon!

Primark Haul- June 2015

Hi lovelies,

Sorry it's been a quiet week blogging, I got back from glamping yesterday so haven't had a chance to post anything but seeing as I had a day off today, I thought it was the perfect opportunity!

So I've been loving Primark lately and yet again, couldn't resist a few bargain buys! Has anyone else been loving Primark lately? I think their jewellery collection is amazing at the minute! Also, as I have joined a new gym I did treat myself to a couple of 'gym appropriate' products haha. I've seen so many reviews on their sportswear collection so I was a bit let down when I went into my local Primark and there wasn't much left and everything they did have that I liked wasn't in my size :( first world problems! I will just have to be quicker next time they release new sportswear as they did launch the new collection ages ago, so my own fault really!

So anyways here is what I bought this month....

I'm loving tops like this as the warmer weather starts and I absolutely love the colour of this one. This was such a bargain at £8 and is so comfy on.

I love jumpsuits for days when you just want to be comfy so I'm always looking out for other ones to add to my little collection. I really like how this one is cropped as I don't have any like that so when we have some hot days (hopefully soon) this will be perfect to wear. It's got a lovely pattern on, has an elasticated waist so gives you a nice silhouette and is super stretchy which makes it soooo comfy! This was a bargain at only £8 too!

Like I said I'm loving Primark's jewellery especially the chokers they have in. Out of silver and gold I'm definitely more a silver sort of girl so when I saw this and for only £5 I thought I would treat myself!

Yes another necklace- I definitely don't need anymore for a good while! Although I have just said that I prefer silver, when I seen this necklace I had to have it! For some strange reason I'm loving pineapples at the minute and so does everyone else seem to be, they're everywhere! For only £4 I thought this little beauty would add a fun element to any outfit.

Shoes are normally my thing that I love to buy and I probably have too many but I can't resist them! I haven't actually bought any sandals this year, well that's a lie I did buy a pair but they don't fit so that doesn't count haha. It's crazy but I've never had a tan pair of sandals!!! So when I saw these for only £12 I thought I should add them to my collection. I'm loving the fact they tie up and I can't wait to wear these out!

This was an impulse buy as I was waiting in the queue. I needed a water bottle for the gym and this does the trick! It did have one of those stick things in it that you can freeze to keep your water cold but I just took that out. Not much to say about this really.

I bought these sports socks for two reasons. First, because all of the socks I own at the minute I can only find one of, so I'm having to mix and match haha! And secondly because both of these packs have a cushion sole so I thought because I'm training for the Race for Life I'm doing a lot of running so I thought these would be good for that. In the first pack you do also get a grey pair which I have already worn and I would definitely recommend these- very comfy! Both packs cost £2 each- slightly weird seeing as 1 has 2 pairs and the other has 3 pairs in but whatever!

Finally I though this was a good buy as it's meant to be made out of the quick dry material and seeing as I sweat a LOT when I'm at the gym/out running I thought this would come in handy. I hope it works but for £5 you can't complain!

So that was everything I got this month and I should probably stay away from Primark for a little while haha!

Hope you've enjoyed this little post and I'll be back tomorrow with another one- promise!

Weightloss Wednesdays/ Why I'm doing the Race for Life

Hi lovelies

So one reason why I missed weightloss Wednesday out last week was because it had been my birthday and I ate like a pig! So obviously on my birthday I ate what I wanted which is fine we are all allowed a cheat day and it's meant to be quite good if you have one bad day as it's meant to satisfy cravings and motivate you to eat well the rest of the time. Only my cheat day turned into a treat week! Not good haha! So I couldn't really come on here and motivate anyone else when I wasn't motivated myself plus time went so fast last week!

Anyways I'm back on it and feeling good. So this weightloss Wednesday is going to be more of an update and as you can tell from the title I have an exciting announcement too!!

Right, where to start.... So the gym I usually go to has now closed down which I'm gutted about but I have now joined a different gym which I'm going to go to for the first time on Friday so that's quite exciting :). It's also one a friend of mine goes to so I now have a gym buddy- this is another thing that's meant to keep you motivated when losing weight so I'm sure this will help me!

As well as starting a new gym I'm looking into seeing a personal trainer at that gym to help me achieve my goals. Now I know you don't need to see a personal trainer to lose weight but personally I think it would help. I think having someone checking in with me each week would be another way to keep me motivated. There seems to be a theme emerging (motivation) not intentional but we'll roll with it haha! I know it will cost a bit of money each week but I will just have to cut back on some other things aka clothes!

So I think that's all of my updates about the gym.... Now on to the really exciting news! As you can see from the title of this post I've decided to enter the Race for Life!!!! Omg!!!!! I'm totally not a runner which is another reason I am doing this as it will challenge me. The main reason I'm doing this is because my mam was diagnosed with Stage 1 Melanoma last year. To cut a long story short she hopefully will be getting the all clear in the next few months (I'll save the long version for a different post maybe). Anyways without all of the amazing work cancer research do millions of people wouldn't  survive and overcome cancer now. I think until it happens to someone you are close to I don't think it really hits you how scary that news can be. Personally I struggled with coming to terms with it and it took me months to be able to actually talk about it- it didn't seem real I didn't want it to be real.
I'm so incredibly proud of my mam for being so strong and dealing with it positively and that is why I want to do this race!

So I've downloaded the training plan from the Race for Life website, which is so handy and I've started training this week. Only 6 weeks to prepare! I'm going to be running 5k (just over 3 miles), I can't even run 1k at the minute but ive got to say I'm so excited to run! That is a sentence I never thought I would say!

Ive set myself a target of £150 to raise for cancer research- I know it's not a massive target but it's daunting thinking little old me has to raise all that! I'm thinking positive though and I will try my hardest to reach it!

If any of you would like to sponsor me and donate some spare cash you can either visit https://www.justgiving.com/lucyabbaszadeh/ or you can text LACR54 then the amount you would like to donate to 70070. I just have to say now don't feel any pressure to donate but anyone who does thank you sooooo much and it doesn't matter how small or big the donation is everything will help!

I will update you each week about how my training is going and how my fundraising is going!

Lots of love,
Lucy x

What I got for my birthday 2015

Hi lovelies

Hope you're all well. Sorry I didn't post last week just had a lot of stuff going on and at the beginning of the week it was my birthday!

Now that I'm officially 23 everytime I think about it all I think about is Blink 182's song 'What's my age again?' and the bit where the lyrics are 'nobody likes you when you're 23' haha. Makes me quite sad actually... I'm getting old!!!!

Anyways one of the great things about your birthday is the pressies you get! So I thought I would show you some of the things that I got for my birthday. Now before I do, I just want to say I'm not doing this post to show off or brag about what I got, I know some people like posts like these and I know I do because I'm a little bit nosey!!! So here's what I got.....

H&M Bucket Bag

I asked my mam and dad for this because I needed a new bag (well needed might be a bit extreme haha!) It's just such a lovely shape and I like how you close it with a tie. I got this nude peachy colour as I always get black bags and just fancied something a little different.

Necklace

Sorry I have no idea where this is from and I think it's a bit rude to ask! My brother got me this because he knows that I love me a statement necklace. This is beautiful and it's that nice gold that doesn't look cheap or brassy if that makes sense!

Jayda Ethic Necklace by Smashglam

I got this off my lovely boyfriend, I have to say I did ask for this. I had seen it on fellow blogger Sophie Hannah Richardson and I fell in love with the necklace. It's by an online company called Smashglam and all of their pieces are beautiful, I want them all haha! I would definitely recommend you checking them out though! I'll link their website here!

MAC Amber x9 Palette

Another one from my boyfriend and yes I did give him a little hint about this palette! Since I have blue eyes I tend to wear a lot of ambers/coppers/orange eyeshadows to try and make them stand out a bit so when I saw this palette I thought it would be perfect! I am going to do a review on this palette either this week or next week, so keep an eye out for that but so far I'm loving it!

Jimmy Choo Exotic Perfume

I've never had this Jimmy Choo perfume before only Flash but it smells lovely. It's very florally so if you like that in a perfume you should give it a try and I love the packaging- some things never change haha!

Champneys Citrus Blush Mini Treatment Collection

I love this brand so when I opened this I was so excited! So in this you get the body scrub , shower gel, body lotion and a body polisher (that's what they call it I don't know if that's the actual name of those things I don't know what they're called haaha big sponge type thing :))! I can't wait to use this!

Benefit Do the Bright Thing

So as you can probably guess by the name this kit includes things that will give you brighter, glowy skin. I used to be all about that matte life but I have to say I am starting to like a little bit of dewyness, dunno what's got into me! So this is perfect for helping me achieve that effect. In this you get the That Gal Primer, High Beam, Dandelion blush and a little brush (it's so cute), a mini They're Real mascara and a mini Bad Gal eyeliner. I love Benefit's products, or at least the ones I have tried anyways, and I can't wait to try these! I will be doing a review on this too but I haven't tried it yet as I don't want to waste the products on just a normal boring day, does anyone else think like that about things?!

So I did get a few other bits and bobs like chocolate and wine but these were the main things. I'm very lucky to have such lovely family and friends that spoilt me and I had a lovely day with them.

I will be back this week so make sure you come back! I'll talk to you soon!
